The swing scene in the San Francisco Bay Area is amazing. After Jordan got started dancing here 15 years ago, he got so hooked that he started teaching and performing.

In San Francisco / San Jose / east Bay / Oakland, there are places to start dancing any day, and there are places to dance every day in the bay area.

The best way to start and learn swing and lindy hop is to start with a beginning lesson, where you will learn swing basics (a simple 6 count dance).

After you've had a few classes and you feel comfortable with the basics of swing, you can progress to lindy hop (8 count dance) - this is a great dance. Here are some photos of swing dancing in San Francisco.
