Whether you are in San Francisco, Oakland, Mountain View, Burlingame, Berkeley, Redwood City or other nearby areas around the San Francisco Bay Area, there is a swing, lindy hop, or blues dance you can travel to any day of the week. MONDAYS

Enrico’s Sidewalk Café
504 Broadway at Kearny, San Francisco, CA
Lavay Smith plays weekly 7 PM -10 PM. In our opinion, this is one of the top swing groups in San Francisco.

TUESDAYS

Tuesday Night Jump
2424 Mariposa St. at Potrero, San Francisco, CA
Stompy Jones plays live weekly 9:30 PM - 12:30 AM. This event is fun to meet many new people, dress up if you like, and dance your heart out.

WEDNESDAYS

Le Colonial SF
20 Cosmo Place, San Francisco, CA
Every Wednesday 7:30 PM -10:30 PM, Le Colonial has live swing music. Kim Nalley is an amazing live performer, and DJ Hep Jen does a great job in between music sets.

Lindy in the Square
Union Square, 333 Post Street, San Francisco, CA
6:00 PM - 8:00 PM there is a free monthly dance where at least 50 to 100 dancers and spectators show up to swing to the DJ music.

Cat's Corner
2937 Mission Street at 25th Street, San Francisco, CA
This weekly dance takes place at 9:30 PM every Wednesday at Savanna Jazz Club. Sometimes they have DJ swing music and sometimes live bands.

Wednesday Night Hop
1400 North Shoreline Blvd #A, Mountain View, CA
This weekly 9:00 PM - 11:30 PM dance takes place at the Starlite Dance Club. Many people show up and it is a blast to dance there.

Le Colonial SF
20 Cosmo Place, San Francisco, CA
The Martini Brothers Band play live 7:00 PM - 10:00 PM. This is a great band to dance to, with swinging sounds similar to Frank Sinatra.

Every week 9:20 PM - 12:30 AM at the Russian Center, various DJ's mix it up with great music to swing and lindy hop dance to.

Top of the Mark

Every week, 8:30 PM- 11:30 PM, there is a live swing band at the InterContinental Mark Hopkins with DJ music between sets. This is a nice venue to relax, eat, and dance.

Friday Night Swing

Each week there is a 9 PM - 12 AM dance at the Cheryl Burke Dance with DJ and host Autumn LaVarta.

The Rent Party

Every Saturday night there are lessons at 8:30 PM and a dance at 9:30 PM featuring Blues and Lindy Hop in two different rooms.

Each month from 9:00 PM - 12:00 AM there is usually a live swing band. It may be Stompy Jones, Lavay Smith, or another great band. This venue gets packed and it is a lot of fun.

Lindy in the Park

Lindy in the park is a weekly, fun free 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM swing and lindy hop dance event that happens in San Francisco. It is only cancelled in the event of rain or unforseen emergency.
